There are two types of people in this world. Those who love to cook and those who don’t. For some of you the option to cook is there but work, school, and other life situations are in the way leaving you tired and without the desire to cook.
Others love to cook and though they are often busy they feel that it is a type of therapy for them. No matter what type of person you are you still want your kitchen to look great. However, depending on the type of person you are will depend on what you really want to use in your kitchen and what type of features it will have.
Those who love to cook will focus on one main thing – the type of stove they will use. In this modern world there are a number of high end stoves that not only work great – but they also look great in their brand new trendy kitchen. You will end up paying a few hundred dollars or more for a stove top that will work for how you cook.
Traditional Stove Top
The most affordable stove top you can use is the traditional unit. This sits over the oven and uses special burners and burner pans that operate using gas or electric heat. These come in both black and white and are great at cooking the food that you love to eat. The only downside to these is that they are some of the worst to clean. Food and grease will often drip down into the burner pan and underneath the stove top.
This forces you to constantly clean each burner pan or replace them with a new one. To get underneath the stove top you have to remove each burner and lift it up. This area is the worst to clean because dirt, food, and grime will build up without your knowledge and become stuck in the cracks making it a feeding ground for bugs.
Flat Stove Top
One of the best types to purchase are the flat stove tops – which are easy to use and even easier to clean. When you work with a flat surface oven all you have to do is wipe down the top surface and you are finished. Another great thing about these is that they can be built on top of the oven or into any counter space like that in the kitchen island. These are more expensive – but in the long run they look great in the kitchen and will save you time and money.
